Hanging with Cousins

We love our trips to Washington every summer.  The best part is spending time with cousins.  We got to spend some time with every family.  We got time with Leah's family while we were at my parents house.  The kids had a blast running around in the woods together and we did volleyball camp with Grandpa.  All my girls and Leah's three oldest got to participate.  It was fun seeing the cousins do volleyball together.  Adele and Titus came down too, so almost half the campers were Beck grandkids.  It was really fun.  Leah worked with the little kids.  She is so creative.  Estelle was in her group and she loved it.

We did slumber parties at Dan and Heathers and got in lots of swim time when we went to Anna and Marc's.  We explored a waterfall with Rachel and Tyler and got to visit our favorite dentist.

Plus lots of fun.  Cousins really are the best!

Man Time in Washington

I'm super behind on blogging...so I'm going back to summer to get caught up.

Hector was only out in Washington with us for a few days, but he got in a lot of Man Time while he was there in addition to Grandpa Camp.  He spent two full days with my dad.  They kayaked and did some saw milling.  I think they ate out a bunch and drove out to the shore to look at all the custom houses my dad is working on.

The saw mill pictures remind me of my childhood.  I have so many memories of rolling logs onto that mill and moving boards around.  Over and over again.

I love that Hector and my dad get along so well.  The two of them can talk for hours.
