Summer Fun

We love our summer fun.  The girls have been doing school work in the morning and fun activities when they finish.  We have spent time at the pool, played golf, had a slumber party, splash pads and parks, exhausted poor little Estelle, played at the water park, with friends and gone to friends houses.  So much fun to be had in the summer heat.

We stayed at Pirate's Cove for 7 hours one day.  It was longer than I needed, but they were having so much fun, I couldn't pull them away.

Estelle is into dress-ups now.  She was so cute in her warrior princess outfit she created.

My friend came one morning and helped us make library bags.  The girls were so excited to use the sewing machine.  Unfortunately they do not have a mom that can help them do sewing projects.  The bags turned out really cute.  They loved picking out their own fabric too.

Volleyball Started two weeks ago, so we have had a little less time to fit in fun activities, but we still make it work.  We love summer.  I can't believe there are only two weeks left.

Grandpa and Hailey

Grandpa and Hailey came to visit for a week after we returned from our Washington trip.  It was so much fun having them here.  Grandpa and Hailey participated in Volleyball Camp with me for four days.  Hailey was a trooper and put in about 12 hours of volleyball a day.  And I LOVE coaching camp with my dad.  It was an exhausting week, but fun.  After camp ended, we did fun DC stuff with Hailey since she had never been to Washington DC before.  We spent time at the American History Museum, we walked the monuments, played at the pool, went snapping turtle fishing, played lots of games and just had fun together.  I hope to have more nieces and nephews come to visit in the future.
