Funny Comments and random pictures

The Bishop came to our house the other night and when I told the girls that he was coming Natalia's first question was, "have you been making bad choices?"  ...Just to clarify, that is not why he was coming.

The girls know we have been striving to eat healthier (not been doing as well lately), but that has not stopped them from reprimanding me.  "Mom, you shouldn't eat that, it is not healthy."  "Mom, when are you going to do your exercising, I know you have not done it yet today."

We listen to the Frozen soundtrack every time we are in the van.  There is one song when the girl singing makes a ticking sound like a clock.  Estelle has learned to click her mouth and whenever that song is on she starts clicking.  You know you listen to too much Frozen when your baby cannot talk yet, but she can sing along to Frozen.

Sienna told me the other day in response to Natalia not playing with her, "If no one will be my friend then my heart will break."

Sienna and Estelle check-ups

Sienna and Estelle had doctor appointments a couple of weeks ago.  Both girls did great and they are both fairly healthy.  Sienna gets a heat rash really easy and her neck area was really rashy looking, plus she has allergies so she was not looking her best.  The doctor was convinced that both girls had scarlet fever, but she ran the strep test and they were both fine.  Heat rash for Sienna and teething for Estelle.  Neither one is much fun, but they are not contagious or even sick for that matter.

Estelle had her one year check up.  She is 29.75 inches long which puts her in the 71st percentile.  She weighs 21 pounds which puts her in the 78th percentile.  She has 6 teeth and she loves to smile.  She is close to walking, but not doing it on her own yet.  She loves attention and is not picky about who is giving it.  She was not happy about her shots.

Sienna had her three year appointment.  She did great and acted like such a big girl at the doctor's office. She was bummed that she did not get any shots, but she was very excited when the doctor provided sparkle band-aids just for fun.  She is 39.67 inches which puts her in the 93rd percentile for height.  She is 36 pounds which puts her in the 88th percentile for weight.  She was also happy to get a sticker when we checked out and she was thoughtful enough to ask for another sticker for her big sister, however when we went to get Natalia I asked Sienna where the sticker for Talia was and she responded by lifting up her pant leg and showing me were she stuck it on her leg.  "I decided to have Talia's sticker too," she replied.
