Daddy Daughter Date

Natalia finished filling up her jar of pompoms last weekend so she earned another daddy daughter date.  Both Natalia and Sienna love their daddy daughter dates.  They talk about them all the time and they love speculating about what they may do on the next one.

Natalia was so excited because this time she got to go on a fancy dinner date.  I let her wear some of my jewelry, she dressed up fancy and even got to wear some lip gloss and fake earrings.  She loved getting ready and it was so sweet seeing her so excited.  She had a great date with Hector; Hector informed she that she talked nonstop.  Sienna is a little slower at filling up her jar, but she has never been so motivated now that she knows there is the prospect of wearing mommy's jewelry.  The little things in life!

Estelle in August

Estelle is awesome.  She has grown up so much lately.  She is silly now, she knows what she likes and she loves attention.  She also loves corn on the cob.  She gets so mad is we are eating it and she does not have a piece.  It is very funny.

She also loves shoes, maybe the reason she is a slow walker is because she has not figured out that shoes go on your feet.  She loves to put shoes on her hands and then crawl with shoe hands.  She thinks she is so funny and she does this at least once a day.  I have taken pictures a couple of days, but this is seriously one of her favorite things to do.  I am constantly putting shoes back...but at least she always keeps the pairs together.

She is such a funny girl, but speaking of walking, she is officially doing it.  She is not a good walker yet, but the wobble walk is my favorite, so no rush there.  She still crawls more than she walks, but she is walking more and more each day.  She does it on her own now without anyone prompting her.  16 months...way to go Estelle.  She is so cute, I love watching her walk.

She also got four molars during August...not so fun.  She has been rather grumpy, but I think we are through the worst of it.  Of course August is my craziest month of the year.  She comes to volleyball with me most every morning and who does not love a cranky teething baby at work with them?  Even with the teething, she is still so cute and so much fun.  She is talking more too.  She is up to at least 10 words that I can clearly understand and handfuls of more words that I am still interpreting.
